Julie Teeling has a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Bachelors in Psychology from the University of South Florida. Currently, she is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern IMH-8794 working toward her license. She also has received vast training in parenting skills/family therapy, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, domestic violence, substance abuse/dependence and eating disorders. Julie has extensive knowledge and experience working with adults, children and families suffering with a range of issues, most commonly, anxiety and depression. Julie specializes in Bridal and Transitional Counseling.
Julie counsels brides and/or their families to help them navigate through the wedding planning stage and the adjustment period of marriage. She also provides Transitional Counseling to students and their families during their transition from middle school to high school and/or from high school to college. She also helps college students adjust to life after high school and the feelings that may accompany their experience. Julie understands how stressful change and transition can be from her professional and personal experience. She utilizes her clinical skills to help clients in their time of change and provides them tools to empower positive change for themselves in the future.
