Cece Shatz has spent the majority of her life living and working in the Tampa Bay Area, though her love of new experiences has taken her on travels all over the world to destinations such as Africa, France, and The United Kingdom, to name just a few. She is the proud mother of five children who are the light of her life, four of them adults and one of them a spunky eight year old.
In the past four years she has devoted countless hours to organizing a wide range of events for various Bay Area social groups, including The Tampa Bay Area Divorce Support Social Meetup Group, (a divorce support group), Friends Connect Tampa Bay Area (a relationship transition group) and Beach Singles & And More... (a single’s group). She is dedicated to sharing the lessons she has learned to help others dealing with divorce, from the very first stages all the way through to the often nerve wracking entrance back into the dating world.
Cece's experience with divorce proved to be a defining moment in her life, and in her journey through grief and loss she feels she has ultimately taken away many positive lessons about life and self-actualization. She likes to take a lighthearted and candid approach to discussion, has always loved hearing the stories of others, and believes strongly in how a little bit of healing laughter can help bring people together. She strives to create a comfortable and open environment for those experiencing divorce, placing great value on speaking from the heart. In Cece's eyes there is great truth in the old saying "Honesty is the best policy". She feels if even one person can find comfort and support through what she shares, that means it is a good day.
Along with her contributions to Life Improvement Radio.com , Cece aspires to one day create a comprehensive, non-profit website as a one-stop divorce resource center. Her goal is to provide information, opportunities for socializing with others facing similar issues, emotional support, and useful tools for all around life improvement for anyone and everyone facing the life changing event that is divorce.
